About ReSTART Resources
OUR WHY
What we stand for
ABOUT
Life is about second chances. It’s about facing adversity and coming through the other side better for it. It’s also about understanding that you are not alone in your despair and distress.
At ReSTART Resources, we are compassionate about community development in Canada because the impact that it makes touches the people who need it most.
At the forefront of our client population base is those facing recidivism. We are also making impacts among those facing housing, food and employment scarcity, addition, mental illness, and overt marginalization.
We operate without biases with our partners, stakeholders and client populations, actively research the current events that affect our initiative within Canada, and are constantly committed to creating true impacts within Canadian communities.

Arabella Rookley is studying Recreation Management and Community Development (BRMCD) at the University of Manitoba. She first came onto the ReSTART Resources team in 2022, and looks after many of the business functions, media, and community development initiatives.
Her true passions within ReSTART Resources and community development as a whole are reducing racial and gender marginalization, and challenging the focuses that drive poverty within Canada.
Her first ReSTART initiative was educating the general public about discourse. She holds a post-structural perspective of disadvantage on Canadian oppressive forces. Her philosophy of community development regards knowledge and communication as the first essential component of any societal impact against discourse, or toward true development.
